🐾 Puppy Adoption Process

At Los Companero Havanese, our goal is to ensure every puppy is placed in a loving, responsible home where they’ll be cherished for life.

While we can ship puppies when necessary, we always prefer that families come meet us in person to pick up their puppy whenever possible. Our dogs — and we — love meeting the wonderful people who will become part of our extended Los Companero family.

🌱 Raising Our Puppies

At LosCompanero Havanese, we invest countless hours into raising confident, well-adjusted puppies. Our puppies receive early socialization, exposure to new experiences, handling exercises, basic grooming preparation, confidence-building activities, and foundational training before they ever leave for their new homes.

This level of care requires significant time, dedication, and expense, but it gives our puppies a strong start in life and helps make the transition to their new families much smoother. Many of the skills and experiences our puppies receive would otherwise require professional training after purchase.

We believe ethical breeding means more than producing puppies—it means carefully raising each puppy as an individual, prioritizing health, temperament, and lifelong success

I am deeply committed to every puppy I bring into the world — and that commitment doesn’t end when they leave my home. I will always take back any puppy I have produced, at any age and for any reason. No Los Companero Havanese should ever end up in a shelter or rescue.
